The product
Your keywords, watched around the clock
Busy servers bury the one message that matters under a thousand that don't. Seer reads them all so you don't have to.
Keyword alerts
Match on the exact words you choose — or on every message in a channel when nothing should slip by.
Rules per alert
Each alert has its own sound, quiet hours, and tap action — the link in the message, the message in Discord, or the app.
Always in sync
Channels added or removed on Discord show up in the app on their own, and an alert that can no longer fire tells you why.
How it works
From sign-in to your first alert
Sign in with Discord
One tap. Seer sees your name and which servers you're in — never your password, messages or DMs.
Request your server
Pick a server you're in. We check it and add it, usually within a day. Servers already on Seer are ready right away.
Create an alert
Choose channels and keywords. A matching message lights up your phone the second it lands, with a link straight to it.
Questions
What Seer can and can't see
What does signing in with Discord give Seer?
Your Discord ID, name, avatar and the list of servers you're in (the identify and guilds scopes). Seer can't read your messages or DMs with that, can't post as you, and never sees your password.
How does Seer see the messages in a server?
Through the Seer bot, which a server's owner or admin adds. It only reads; it can't post. You only get alerts from channels Discord itself lets you read, so a members-only channel stays members-only.
What happens to the messages?
Each one is checked against the keywords of people watching that channel. For a match, a short preview is kept for your History and removed after 90 days — sooner if the message is deleted in Discord. Messages that match nothing aren't stored. Details in the privacy policy.
What does it cost?
Nothing while Seer is in beta.
